Back Into Action (formerly Watsonia Osteopathic Clinic) was founded in 1999 by Dr. Matthew Henderson. After graduating in 1991 from the Phillip Institute of Technology (now RMIT University), Matthew spent eight years practising in Sydney before returning home to Melbourne to establish his own clinic.

With a background in hockey and a current passion for golf and cycling, Matthew understands the demands of both high-level and recreational sport. As a father of two sports-loving children, he brings a practical and empathetic approach to treating patients of all ages  from active kids to weekend warriors and older adults.

Matthew takes a whole-family approach to osteopathy and incorporates dry needling and cupping into treatment when appropriate to help relieve pain, restore movement, and improve overall function.
